She has worked extensively in Romania and Hungary and has been a key expert on several international projects. She is methodology expert and team leader on the UNFCCC CDM and JI accreditation teams and is an expert evaluator for EU financing programs. She holds a master degree from Wageningen University, the Netherlands, in Environmental Sciences, specializing in environmental economics and environmental system analyses.  Ciprian Popovici, M.Sc.
consultantCiprian Popovici has 9 years of experience in environmental consulting in Romania and abroad. His fields of expertise are environmental policy, social impact assessment, multi-stakeholder processes, strengthening institutional and organisational capacities for environmental improvement, facilitating communication and dialogue processes, environmental education and socio-ecological networks. He has recently become a member of the EBRD Social panel group and he is an expert evaluator for the EU financing programs. He holds a master degree of Wageningen University, the Netherlands, in Environmental Sciences with a specialisation in Environmental Policy and Competence Education and Development studies.  Cosmin Briciu, M.Sc.
environmental consultantCosmin has 5 years of experience working as an environmental consultant. His main interest areas include: renewable energy, climate change, waste management, environmental risk assessment and impact analysis. He is also an environmental management system (EMS) expert helping companies in obtaining the Environmental Management certificate – ISO 14001 and evaluating several projects from the sustainable development point of view. In the framework of an internship at Siemens Austria, financed through the Erasmus program, he evaluated the wind energy potential of Romania. He holds a Bachelor degree in Environmental Sciences from Babes Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca and a Master degree in Climate Change from the same University We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.  Anna Szabo, M.Sc.
biodiversity consultantAnna is a biologist specialised in ecology and has nine years experience in habitat and vegetation survey, participating as a team member in several monitoring surveys and in development of conservation management of protected areas; she also worked on biological aspects of built heritage conservation and maintenance. Anna has teaching experience at the Faculty of Biology and Geology, Babes Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, where she also is a Ph.D. candidate in the field of forest ecology. She holds a Master degree in Biocenology and Management of Protected Areas and a Bachelor degree in Ecology and Environmental Protection, both obtained at the above mentioned faculty.  Ramona Duma, M.Sc.
environmental consultantRamona has a vast experience in preparing the documentation needed for the issuance of environmental permits (involved in over 30 EIA, risk assessment and due diligence audits), sampling air, water and soil, analysing results of measurements, carrying out measurements for noise, particle pollution, etc. Ramona holds two relevant Master degrees, one in Public Health and Industrial Hygiene, and another one in Risk Assessment and Environmental Safety. Ramona’s undergraduate studies are in the field of Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Geography, Babes Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca. An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind.  Liviu Gheorghe, M.Sc.
director of eco2ro*Liviu Gheorghe is an engineer specialized in the field of energy and has extensive experience working with fossil fuel based on electricity/cogeneration plants in Romania and abroad. In the last 6 years he has been involved in the technical and economical assessment of different investment projects in the electricity and heat field (fuels: gas, coal, oil, biomass; wind), Joint Implementation, CDM projects and Voluntary Carbon Market Projects. Since 2006, he is a methodology expert on the United Nations Framework Convention for Climate Change Joint Implementation (UNFCCC JI) Accreditation Team (AT) and PDD Review.  Cristina Ardelean
junior environmental consultantCristina is the newest member of Green Partners Team. She graduated as an engineer in 2009 she completing the courses of the specialisation in Biotechnical and Environmental Systems Engineering at the Faculty of Environmental Science from Cluj-Napoca. She holds a Master Degree in Risk Assessment and Environmental Security. During the academic years she has been involved in projects relating to bioremediation, decontamination and greening of contaminated sites. She has 1 year experience in Environmental consultancy and her fields of interest are: conducting social and environmental audits, environmental studies, assessment of environmental policies.
